Dr Bazlur Rashid is an Adjunct Lecturer in the Computing and Security discipline in the School of Science.

Background

Dr Bazlur Rashid coordinated, tutored, and facilitated a range of Computing and Cyber Security courses at ECU. He has more than 14 years of academic teaching-learning and research experience in overseas and Australian tertiary-level institutions. He facilitated both on-campus and online learning and teaching using various platforms. He also worked in the industry for about 5 years before joining as an Academic. He has published several research papers in top-ranked journals, including ACM, Springer-Nature, and IEEE Journals. He is also a reviewer of the same top-level venues. He is actively collaborating on research works across universities in Australia and overseas.

  • 2023 - Silver and Bronze Teaching Excellence Awards 2023 for four consecutive semesters based on a minimum of 85% student satisfaction and a mean average of 6 for the University of Adelaide’s Master of Cyber Security and Data Science programs
