Dr Tenielle Porter is a Strategic Research Fellow in the School of Medical and Health Sciences and is co-lead of the Collaborative Genomics and Translation research group in the Centre for Precision Health. Tenielle’s research focuses on understanding the relationship between genetics, lifestyle and markers of Alzheimer’s disease. Specifically, she aims to identify genetic and epigenetic patterns predicting cognitive decline and brain changes during the development of Alzheimer’s disease, and how these relationships are influenced by a person’s lifestyle.
