Research Areas and Interests

  • Health Promotion/Public Health mixed-methods researcher dedicated to improving short- and long-term Health outcomes for children, adolescents and their families
  • Experienced in working with people from all walks of life and is  committed to health equity and changing lives for the better.
  • Has worked across multiple areas of public health – physical activity, obesity prevention, nutrition education, minimisation of harms from alcohol, oral health, bullying and cyberbullying in schools, child social and emotional health and wellbeing.
  • Researches and develops the successful implementation of health interventions (obesity, physical activity and nutrition) in early childhood and school settings
