Dr Elizabeth Wenden

Liz is a Lecturer in Public Health in the School of Medical and Health Science.

Health Promotion/Public Health mixed-methods researcher dedicated to improving short- and long-term Health outcomes for children, adolescents and their families
Experienced in working with people from all walks of life and is committed to health equity and changing lives for the better.
Has worked across multiple areas of public health – physical activity, obesity prevention, nutrition education, minimisation of harms from alcohol, oral health, bullying and cyberbullying in schools, child social and emotional health and wellbeing.
Researches and develops the successful implementation of health interventions (obesity, physical activity and nutrition) in early childhood and school settings
