Mrs Beverly Adkin

Bev is a Lecturer and the Academic Professional Experience Coordinator (Early Childhood Studies) for the School of Education.

Background

Bev’s extensive teaching experience in the sector and initial teacher education informs all aspects of her work at ECU where she is committed to prepare Pre-Service Teachers to be classroom ready to teach in schools with a current, relevant knowledge and practical application of this using the WA curriculum, learning frameworks, the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers and innovative research. Bev’s commitment to quality teaching and learning won her the 2023 Vice Chancellor’s Learning and Teaching Award for Outstanding Contributions to Student Learning.
