Associate Professor Marianne Knaus

Marianne is an Honorary Associate Professor in the School of Education.

Background

Marianne is an Honorary Associate Professor in Early Childhood Studies at Edith Cowan University (ECU) in Perth, WA. She has taught across the education sector in Early Childhood and Tertiary settings in a range of curriculum and content areas. Marianne has experience working in a wide variety of early childhood settings including preschools, childcare centres and schools in QLD and NSW. As a TAFE teacher, Marianne taught in the Children’s Services programs for 11 years. Marianne was employed at the University of New England in Armidale NSW before moving to Perth, WA. In her current role at ECU Marianne has undertaken teaching in the Mathematics discipline area for Early Childhood with the goal of developing positive mindsets towards Mathematics for pre-service teachers.
