Associate Professor Brian Moon

Brian is an Honorary Associate Professor in the School of Education.

Background

Brian Moon has taught English, media and communications in Western Australian schools and Universities, and has been a curriculum developer and state examiner of English. He is the author of many textbooks and reference works, including Literary Terms: A Practical Glossary (3rd ed, 2017) and Introducing Literature (2016), as well as books on writing, poetry and film. Brian's research interests include writing and rhetoric, English curriculum history, and teacher education. He is currently investigating the topics and text selections used in secondary school English classes.
