Mrs Zen Labuschagne
Zen is a School Officer working in the Management Discipline Cluster Hub at the School of Business and Law.
Zen has worked in administration roles at ECU since 2020.
Former roles include:
- Marketing and Administration Assistant (One-year Internship), School of Business and Law Executive Education Program.
- Administration Assistant, School of Business and Law International and Commercial Office and ECU Melbourne
- School Officer, School of Business and Law Research Hub
- School Officer, Management Discipline Cluster Hub
Zen first joined ECU when she completed a one year paid internship at ECU as part of the Work Integrated Learning Program in 2020. This was part of the internship year offered with the Bachelor of Commerce Professional Degree. Following completion of this internship, Zen was offered a role as an administration assistant. This was a fantastic opportunity that enabled Zen to work parttime while completing her studies.
Zen grew up in South Africa, and has lived in the Republic of Ireland, the USA, and Australia. In 2021, she graduated from ECU with a Bachelor of Commerce Professional Degree with a double major in Human Resource Management and Marketing. She also has a National Diploma in Journalism, and in the past worked as a journalist for print media in South Africa and in the Republic of Ireland.
